Color Varnish
Varnish Types
Commonly used color varnish include PU transparent colored finish, PU solid color finish, PU solid color primer, and colored sealing primer, etc.
Ancillary products of color varnish include color masterbatch, color concentrate, and many other coloring agents.

1. PU Transparent Colored Finish
(1) Models
M8310A PU matte transparent color varnish

(2) Mixing ratio varies with paint color.
(3) Characteristics of PU transparent colored finish
This colored finish contains superior quality color concentrate, so it features bright color, good color retention, and high transparency.
We can provide PU varnish with totally 18 colors. Varnish color is also customizable in accordance with provided sample plate.
(4) Note
Due to different levels of sheen, there may be color difference between PU varnishes with the same color.
There may be different color effects, when the same varnish is applied on substrates with different colors.
If customers need customized PU color varnish and provide with dry sample plate, then the same model plate is also required for better color matching.

2. PU Solid Color Finish

M8300 gloss antibacterial varnish
M8300B matte antibacterial varnish
(2) Colors
This series of color varnish is provided with over 20 different colors. Varnish color is also customizable in accordance with provided sample plate.
(3) Mixing ratio varies with paint color.
(4) Characteristics
Both models of solid color varnish contain ROS antibacterial factors which provide our color varnish with good antibacterial performance.
This solid color finish features strong hiding power, so it can cover small flaws on substrates. It is an ideal protective and decorative coating for woodworks.
(5) Note
Due to different levels of sheen, there may be color difference between PU varnishes with the same color.
Inadequate varnish film thickness may cause color differences.
We recommend using our solid color finish in combination with the same color or similar color solid color primer, thus guaranteeing uniform color of varnish film.

3. PE Modified Colored Primer (Solid Color Varnish)
(1) Model
12×× series PE modified colored primer
(2) This series color varnish is provided with over 20 different colors, including white primer, black primer, and coffee primer, etc. Varnish color is also customizable according to provided sample color plate.
(3) Mixing ratio varies with paint color.
(4) Characteristics
This type of color varnish employs superior quality color paste. It is opaque and has strong hiding power, so it can cover small flaws on substrates.

4. Ancillary Products of Color Varnish
(1) Color concentrate, also called oil based dye
Color concentrate is provided with red, yellow, black and orange colors. This dark brown liquid is dissolvable in varnish, thus producing colored varnish film.
Color concentrate can be either used for formulating transparent color varnish or thinned for color correction.
(2) Color masterbatch, also known as oil based paste
Color masterbatch is a viscous fluid obtained by mixing organic or inorganic pigments in alkyd resin.
This product can be used for formulating our PU solid color finish and PE modified colored undercoat.
Popular masterbatch colors include red, pink, orange red, medium yellow, lemon yellow, iron red, iron oxide yellow, black, purple, and green, and more.
