What is UV lacquer?
The full name of UV paint is ultraviolet curing paint. UV paint is also known as photo-curable coating or UV curable paint. PU paint, PE paint and NC paint are named in accordance with film forming materials. While UV lacquer is named according to curing method.
We at Maydos Building Materials Company mainly produce UV wood paint and called UV wood lacquer.
Our UV wood paint is applied onto furniture and other woodworks by a roller coating machine or curtain coater.

Why choose UV wood lacquer?
UV wood paint has many advantages. The following will describe you detailed information about UV paint advantages.
1. Eco-friendly
Formaldehyde, benzene and TDI are excluded from UV wood lacquer. The solid contain of our UV wood lacquer is above 95%. During paint application, there is no volatilization of organic solvents, and all compositions are cured and form into film.
So, this UV wood paint imposes the smallest health hazards on paint applicators, and produces lowest environmental pollution. It's a real environmental protective coating material.
2. Low cost
UV wood lacquer has a high solid content and almost all compositions form into lacquer film, so there isn't any lacquer loss. You will save 20-50% cost if you use our UV wood paint rather than conventional paint.
3. High application efficiency
UV wood paint film is cured immediately after exposure to UV light. There is no need to waiting for paint film drying, so paint application efficiency is greatly improved.
By adopting UV paint coating line to apply UV wood lacquer, 8 workers can finish coating of 1-1.5 containers of dismantling furniture within 8 hours.
4. Easy to apply
As a kind of one-component paint, UV wood paint doesn't need any curing agent or diluent, so it is convenient to use.
Additionally, as long as UV wood paint is not exposed to bright light, there is no constraint on its use time. While conventional paint is usually required to be used up within activation period, which is inconvenient.
5. Resource saving
UV wood lacquer is able to be applied by machinery and the lacquer film is cured immediately after exposure to UV light, so painted products can be packaged immediately after painting. Thus, lots of labor force and space is saved.
6. Reliable performance
UV paint film features high hardness, good abrasion resistant and good transparency, etc. Additionally, mechanical paint application produces smaller color difference.

Notes
1. During application process, UV wood paint should be kept away from direct sunlight.
2. Mix paint well before application, thus preventing delamination.
3. Substrates are better to be panel materials.
4. UV wood paint coating equipment is more advantageous for coating on large quantity single-style woodworks.
5. Adhesion force tests are necessary before UV wood lacquer coating. After woodworks are coated with topcoats, adhesion force test for overall coating should be conducted.
6. Our UV wood lacquer should be stored in cool and dry places without direct sunlight.
7. Shelf life: 12 months when properly stored.

Usage instructions on UV wood lacquer
Avoid direct contact with eyes and skin.
While applying UV wood lacquer, we recommend wearing rubber gloves, safety glasses with wings and rubber shoes.
If UV wood paint is gotten onto your skin, wash your skin with large amount of hand-washing detergent as soon as possible, and then rinse with soap water.
If UV wood lacquer is gotten into your eyes, immediately rinse your eyes with clean water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical treatment.
